George, if you email me a download link for this song, I can try replacing it on the server. It does appear to be a working mp3 file at the moment. posted by mathowie at 4:47 PM on

It wouldn't play as originally downloaded—WMP threw an error. Renamed it to .m4a: perfect in iTunes. So...was this encoded by iTunes? I'm presuming this player won't deal with AAC files correctly. posted by cortex at 4:51 PM on

I think Daryl and Elvis' lawyers are blocking allaboutgeorge's file because he didn't clear the necessary channeling licenses... posted by flapjax at midnite at 6:46 PM on

all: I created it in GarageBand and outputted it as an .m4a. I then renamed the file ending as .mp3. I should've sent it to iTunes as an .m4a and had iTunes convert it to .mp3 (or MPEG 1 layer 3).
cortex, mathowie: I e-mailed it. Sorry for all the runaround.

Dandy. Thanks, allaboutgeorge; hopefully Matt can swap the mp3 proper soon. posted by cortex at 3:22 PM on

I like this.
I don't like the funky equalizer phasing. Unnecessary gimmick, and it's not needed on this track. There's nothing to cover up. posted by Ynoxas at 9:51 PM on

The funny thing is that you can see the "load bar" actually loads, but the player never starts.
