her theme

A song I recorded several years ago. I thought I would someday go back and fix the numerous rythmic imperfections and scratchy guitar but have since lost the make file, changed recording software and generally made my peace. Beware of turntable.

Oh, man, this is a great little jam. It has reminded me that I desperately want a turntable, but can't afford one. Thanks.

She has/had her own theme, eh? Pretty damn cool. And yea, I love it when the TT kicks in. Good stuff!

You could record it all over again. I know it sucks, but it is a cool jam and you could do a cool song with it. (But, if you want an opinion, don't wait too long for the drums/TT to come in). Cool one. Keep them coming.

Thanks for the comments, you all.

buried: this was recorded with a pretty crappy turntable and a decent mixer. As long as you find a direct-drive turntable (not belt drive) - and you can find them pretty cheap - you should be able to learn the basics.

snsranch: she does have a theme! I gave this little jam to my girlfriend the day before she left to study in france for six months.

micayetoca: if I could squeeze a drum set into my tiny, japanese apartment I might try recording it again but I think, for now at least, I'm going to have to let it be. And thanks for the tip on not making intros too long. I have a bad habit of doing that and I think people tend to lose interest during long intros.
