That's a great sample of...what, recorders? Panpipes? what is that? And those strings are cool, too -- especially that little bit after "Moses, I believe we're ready to follow."

(I don't really know anything about rap. But it sounds pretty good to me.)

thanks. that is a field recording folkways 1940s of village singers in congo africa with some kind of flute. their timing is incredible and I think those guys might have known something about freedom or the lack there of.

its a rap song, can you believe it?

It's a great rap song. If you don't mind my saying I think the voice could be recorded again. It sounds a bit... not saturated , but close to it. The performance is perfect, it's just the actual sound of the recording, I don't know if it's because of the level it was recorded at, or the way it was mic'ed. This is such a cool song that I think if you do that, it will be perfect.

In any case, very cool song, keep them coming.

I just had to go listen to Can of Corn again to see why I would be surprised about this being a Rap song.

You definately have the skills. The voice is right on-meaning that you have the necessary tembor and tone to do rap. In addition, the writing for Freedom is right on. Good stuff.

I called Can of Corn 22nd Century funk. Well you brought a good game to this one too!

I'm just getting ready to release the cd. until a few weeks ago, no one had heard any of it, so thanks for feedback. i'll put another up here too... let's see... maybe one about seeing your friend's girl naked on the internet? or...
