Off Yer Mind

This is Bell Dora, an alt-country band I had until very recently. Here we are, I'm the one in orange.
It's a bit of a ballad, and was my first foray ever into the pedal steel (a crazy-hard instrument). I used the C6 slab.

It's a shame the band split, the song is reaaally nice. If you have more songs like this, I'd love to hear them.

On other topic...how many bands do you play in, man? It must be great, I've had a hard time finding musicians to jam with here, I'd love to have that multiple band thing going (even if it was five bands with the same guys in different costumes).

I'm usually juggling 4-6 bands, in addition to a day job and all sorts of pick-up/session work.

EEEk, steel. You sound really good though. Very nicely done.

The 4-6 bands sound like quite a feat to me. Being in one is complicated enough, I can't begin to imagine being in that many. Though perhaps that gives you some kind of emotional distance that allows you to contribute and enjoy it, without betting your life on it. Perhaps it takes some of the emotional edge off, while retaining all the niceness of playing with other people.

Sorry for the mind-rambling, in any case. I listened to the song again a few times today. It came up with the shuffle once and the other two I played it by choice. I really liked it. Looking forward to more songs by you.

Eek was regarding the difficulty level BTW.
