You've got me flummoxed. Was that break/run inspired by anything in particular? It's really sweet and reminds me of something I heard a long time ago. Nice.

Thanks. All I really did there was take a chord progression I liked (descending maj7s) and threw parts of the chord (the notes close enough together to form a melodic idea) on top for the sax.

It sort of reminds me of something I heard ages ago as well, but I can't put a finger on it either. The Weather Channel has this funny way of embedding music into your brain without your awareness.
