written and recorded very quickly: a couple of childhood experiences made into a little parable set. hope you enjoy. it's fun as hell to sing.

when we were young and stupid, we came across a pile of cigarettes. each filter smeared with lipstick + piled in a sad sort of monument. we said 'goddamn,' but we didn't understand. we said 'goddamn,' but we really didn't know. surely something is meant by this, but in our innocence its just 'goddamn.' now, i once fell in love with the class slut. i thought she was pretty, she thought i was sweet. she sent me letters that were scented. i knew there was something she wanted from me. i said 'goddamn,' but... there's bound to be something that you're missing there'll always be something to miss it's just 'goddamn'

Yeah, me too, actually. I had thought of it with your other songs and it was the first thing that caught my attention this time. The bass as well, I like that rough bass sound.
