My Granny's House Was Scary

3/4 of the way through my Tom Waits impression, I realized I could play the riff from Black Sabbath's "Black Sabbath" over the top.

I was trying to do some "Waits" vocals last night and hurt myself! Ha! This kicks ass. Thanks sleepy pete, I can't wait for Halloween.

This is great and wonderful, the total soundscape is just perfect. The tinny-sounding stuff, the in-your-face horns that come outta nowhere... well done! Are you playing all instruments here, sleepy pete? The horns?

snsranch: I really love Halloween. I also really love Disneyesque Haunted House music, which is what this is closest to for me. Thanks!

flapjax at midnite: Yep, that's all me. I don't break out the saxophone as much as I should, but this song definitely called for it. Thanks for your kind words as well.

This is great.

For some reason I imagine that the percussion is being played by the skeleton warriors from Jason and the Argonauts.

My favorite moment is at 1:30 when the BASS comes CRASHING back in after the little honkfest.

I believe this is my favorite comment about a song I've done ever, if only because I imagine them playing percussion in a lot of things.

This is wicked! I really like the muted wash of the brassy sounds at the end - spooky!

Inspired me to hide in the stairwell and creep out my flatmate with some jazz kazoo.
