An epic exploration into the applications of group vocals, plinky synthesizers, and personal religious doubt.

You could easily add the tomwaitsimpression tag to this, not so much for the vocals as for the music, it goes perfectly with the current challenge. Cool song.

Oh yeah, definite tomwaitsimpression (and by that I mean you should add the tags for the challenge). Great work/song.

This is much better than Tom Waits.

It's Waitsy without sounding like a ripoff.

OH. That is SWEET at 2:20 when the fuzz bass comes in on the right side. That's awesome -- it's like the song is just getting started, but it's halfway through! And then it builds and builds and then POW pulls out the rug.

And then it goes all EPIC and it's not Waitsy at all anymore. Is there actually a group doing the vocals, or is it all you?

This is really neat.

Karlos- It's a large group of boisterous drunks, recorded a few times, so as to sounds more like a mob.

+1 for great pacing
+2 for drunken mob

I bet this was tough to record. It sounds great. I'd love to see the lyrics, if you've got them written down somewhere.
