Is that a mellotron? Nice layering of vocals, and great moody instrumentation. I bet someone could make a pretty funny montage video for this song, with super-earnest acting... once Mefi Video comes around.

No mellotron. There's about eight layers of guitar (recorded at breakneck speed as experimental one takes in the half-hour I spent waiting for my band to show up to practice) and some Reason stuff providing bass and organ-ish sound and the braindead drums.

The characters in the song turned into characters in a novel I didn't finish. Whee!

This one's a great example of why there had to be a random mode for the flash player on the main page. I missed it the first time around. Cool song, 'rtex.
