Kate Nash cover, for all of them fine, fine ladies out there.

I've been meaning to record a girly song for a while, and all that BBC Radio 1 and MTV2 UK has, for better or for worse, lodged this song firmly in my head.

I love this just as much as I love the original, thanks!

Excellent energy. I hadn't heard the original, but it seems like a pretty good song.

This song is really great and I love how you arrange/set up/record it. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's good.

This is not something I normally do, and I don't plan to make a habit out of it, but here's an updated mix of the song. The mix posted above was a bit of a gung-ho, record-and-mix-all-in-one-evening affair, and I felt compelled to sort out some timing and level issues and generally clean up the mix. Have at it.

Yes, the one on your site is much cleaner...

...and you used a fucking GLOCKENSPIEL...

...and I tend to like genderbendy covers a lot...

...and I've adored this song in all its livejournalistic glory since I first heard it...

...which all equals: I love this to pieces. Smooch!
