A "drifty" and atmospheric song about life and death and love, complete with harp.

I bought a $1 bamboo slide whistle in Chinatown. It doesn't work particularly well, but I found that if I played it in a hectic and random manner and then pitch-shifted it and slowed it down a whole lot, I could create the kind of space-bird sounds you hear throughout this song. The harp part is a couple of samples working together.

Continuing the thought from my comment in this song, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this one, but it's too sparse (ethereal? atmospheric?) for me. I think some sort of subtle percussion would help it tie it together, but it might not be the sound you are after, so don't really pay attention to me.

Hah, thanks for dropping in here too. My pimping worked! Yeah, this song has a different vibe to it, but I do like it without percussion. I guess it's just not everyone's cup of tea. It's certainly no top 40 hit...
