I dunno why I'm so into a capella these days. I kicked around the idea of doing this song as a round for a while. This is just a sketch. GarageBand, built-in mic in MacBook.

I think the timing is not as tight as one might have wished for, but the arrangement idea is really great for the song! Really liked the oooh-part in there too. Very cool.

Your voice sounds great, both solo and textured. I like the harmonies; in fact, I think you should add more harmonizing.

Incidentally, how the hell did they fit such a nice mic in the Macbooks? This is the second recording (there was another here in Music) where I was in disbelief over that this.

spiderskull, the mic quality surprised the hell out of me too. I did a little noise reduction in GarageBand, but that's all it took. For demo recordings it's perfectly adequate.

That's amazing. Sounds sort of medieval, especially the bit with "videotape" as a ground bass. And what a lovely, true voice you have!
