Hi there doc. You've got some nice elements in this here soundscape, for sure, and it is indeed cinematic. Speaking of which, I'm reminded a little of some of the music Wendy Carlos made for The Shining. May I offer one bit of critique? I think you could stand to limit your ideas/sounds a bit, in order to give a piece like this more focus. I guess I'd prefer it as something a bit more minimal: less notes, less events, but milking them more, you know what I mean? Anyway, though, it's very nice.

Love the reverberated hits/samples that resonate in the background. This is total mood music... I feel all weird now, so, well done.

FJAM, I agree, particularly in the first half. I tend make stuff procedurally, where patterns are set up and the altered over time, so controlling that at any given instant can be problematic. I do want to create effective music in the end, though, so control is something I need to learn.

It feels like I'm in the hull of a ship, listening to all the strange underwater noises coming in through the walls. (Not that I've actually been in the hull of a ship.)

Interesting stuff. I like the "hull of a ship" image, I get a similar feeling. Part of me wishes that a simple, almost classical melody would emerge from these sounds.

Oddly enough, my original idea for a description was something along the lines of "imagine yourself lying in the hull of a small boat as you float slowly through an industrial area that's being bombed", but I couldn't think of a nice, neat way to put it.
