Her second album's been noticeably better received than Arular from what I can tell. It topped a non-trivial number of year end lists and so on.

She's more than made good on the promise of her debut. I'm not really sure what else one could want from the second album by an artist like her.

Sparkletone: I guess I meant she seemed set to penetrate the mainstream, of which I am a permanent fixture. And then, lo and behold, when I fire up Rhapsody this morning at work, after writing that last night, there she is on "Top Albums of 2007" playlist.

I just missed her somehow I guess. I'm glad she's getting some recognition as I think what she does is interesting.

Yeah, I dunno.

I think she's penetrated the mainstream about as much as anyone does these days barring a freak accident or large corporate backing.

Whether she gets even more exposure for her third album is hard to say, as god only knows what that will end up being like. I don't think she really worries about it much.
