shits'n'giggles

I posted my first song to MeFiMusics just over a year ago and now after breaking fifty tracks I'm officially over the hill. I've really enjoyed checking the page every couple of days and seeing a fresh list of tracks to explore while sharing some of my own. I even picked up some influence from fellow electronoodlers 31d1 and tehloki, was inspired by doctor_negative's soundscapes, and just recently impressed by spiderwire's thick mixes (specifically the first one he posted). Beyond the electronic genre, snsranch wrote and recorded one of my favorite songs of the year and micayetoca kept me consistently interested with his dynamic worldly styling. And that just scratches the surface of the amount of brilliance I've come across on the most underrated side of Metafilter. Anywho, I'm saying all this sappy shit because I'm taking a hiatus from beatmaking to do a bit of travelling for a year and I wanted to give everyone a double high five before I left. So thanks for the musics yo.

I have been silent in most of the comments for your tracks. But I make a point of listening to everything you post.

Traveling for a year, eh? That sounds fantastic. Where are you planning on going?

And thanks for the kind words and, of course, for the music. As you said, there is a lot of talent on the most underrated side of Metafilter, the diversity is unbelievable and your songs are part of it. You will indeed be missed.

Well, damn. This certainly sucks for MeFiMusic, but good for you. Traveling is the best! Are you going to be blogging your adventures by any chance? Best of luck to you and give the world our MeFiMusic LOVE!
