Soul II Soul's "Back to Life" and "Keep On Movin'" were all over the radio back then, so I used them as a model. <br /><br /> I had a chip on my shoulder about those songs because they <em>were</em> radio hits and must therefore suck. But this exercise made me realize I did in fact like them. On this mix, I added strings and replaced my sucky original custom-made beat with a facsimile of the beat used on "Back to Life". I also couldn't help but sneak in a quote.
