  	<title>Take It Apart</title>

  	<description>Back in the late &apos;80s, I challeneged myself to write a song in a style I usually dislike. Soul II Soul&apos;s &quot;Back to Life&quot; and &quot;Keep On Movin&apos;&quot; were all over the radio back then, so I used them as a model. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I had a chip on my shoulder about those songs because they &lt;em&gt;were&lt;/em&gt; radio hits and must therefore suck. But this exercise made me realize I did in fact like them.

On this mix, I added strings and replaced my sucky original custom-made beat with a facsimile of the beat used on &quot;Back to Life&quot;. I also couldn&apos;t help but sneak in a quote.

Vocals on this recording need some cleaning up, though.
