I'm going to kill you, ORthey. I was going to do this one! I had been wondering what I was going to do to replace the maaaaaaaaaaad drums in the original, and your version is great even without the drums (which I thought were essential for the song).

Damn, this is a great cover. I think now the Mefi Challenge should be to get you to cover songs by each one of us.

Congratulations, this is just too good. I'm sure the Great Big Mulp is blastin' it through giant speakers in the main square of his home town, playing it over and over.

I always thought this was one of the best "MeMu" songs as well, you played it nice.

What kind of guitar do you play? Do you primarily fingerpick?

ageispolis, in this case I'm using a classical guitar with a capo on the 5th fret. And yeah, I mostly do fingerpicking.

Hey, mica, you weren't the only one thinking about Flyball's Lament as a cover choice. It was on my list, too. Right up top of it, matter of fact...

But, hey, just cause ORthey's done one, should that be a reason we shouldn't as well? Hell, I reckon everybody's will be different, right? No law against it, anyway...

That wouldn't be fair to the one other cover that's come in so far though: BrnP84's excellent version of innoculatedcities' Til We're Dead.

I was gonna say that I wouldn't dare to do a second cover of this song. No way it would be as good as this one.

And flapjax, funny you should mention it, I was gonna propose for the next challenge that instead of doing "cover a Mefite" we could try "cover this Mefite", that would be pretty cool. Or perhaps we can choose one specific Memu song and have people cover that.

Anyways, I want to say again that this cover is fantastic. Congratulations again, ORthey.

not to nitpick, but yours says MeFuMu and the other one says MefiMu, so it won't show up with the others.
