This is the most unlike me I could ever be. But it seemed like a perfectly natural direction for the song to take, and my luck has been severely down the last couple days, so... (dear people who hate blink182. I do too, most of the time. This doesn't sound like them)

I like Blink 182, I got through my teenage years listening to them. I prefer not to listen to some types of music but it really takes a lot to legitamatly hate another musician. Anyway decent cover

Maybe hate isn't the word for it? I mean, I wouldn't punch Tom DeLonge in the face or whatnot, but I dislike the band not only because I don't like a lot of their work, but because of the massive wave of... let's say sub-par... bands which they seemed to inspire.

Pssht, I'll take that as a challenge: kids born in 1990 are entering college this year, most if not all undergrads don't remember H.W.Bush's term or the ensuing Desert Storm, etc. etc.

Back to the topic -- this cover is actually quite good. I don't really get the Blink hate -- for what they were (pop punk) they weren't that bad (especially their latest[last?]). There's certain more intolerable music out there.

I'm trying to remember how long ago it was that Blink had tiny little hand drawn ads in skater rags trying to sell home made cds. Musta been the late '80s.

Anyway, I like this much better than the original. It's a good song and you gave it some heart and soul.
