A nice little ditty from my old band's first (and only) E.P.
I'm not sure what it's about, but it groove along nicely. My friend Stuart played vibes on the track.

Wow, very nice! It certainly does groove along, and I agree with arcanecrowbar about the vibes. It reminds very much of Dave Matthews Band, especially the vocals.

This is titty. I don't really know what it's about either but you have a pretty good voice and the music was def groovin, reminds me of Marvin Gaye

Ouch, I'm sorry you were compared to Dave Mathews. If it makes you feel better, I think you're way better.

Hah! I didn't mean that as an insult, for what it's worth. I used to be a DMB fan back in the day. :-)

I didn't think it was too insulting, your voice does kinda have a Daveish sound, the music def didn't but I think Dave has a pretty good voice. I'm with you danb, I used to be a DMB fan back in the day, haven't really listened to their stuff too much anymore but they're def a talented bunch, Dave's one of the best rhythm guitarist out there, pretty good songwriter, and they have the one or the most groovin drummers on the planet. Sorry to be stealin your thunder black8, this thread is about YOUR song and it was damn good but I just had to throw in my 2 cents.

(Ha, I'm just joking around danb - DMB isn't that bad... they've just become sort of omnipresent in certain college campus circles, and it can get old really fast.)

I definetly understand that, I live in a college town and it's impossible to drive down the road without seeing one of 3 bumper stickers, DMB, OAR, and Tim Reynolds.
