Edmonton's Baffin Island Party. Cthulu rises from the waves. Wish we'd recorded the vocals...

Could probably use more distortion on the guitar and bass parts, and the drums should be recorded to de-emphisize the snare and bring up the toms more. Right now, the drums sound really flat. Also, beware of pretty bridges.
You might dig Human Wick Effect, though they're a bit more grindcore.
(I am curious about which strain of vocals you'd put over this— Cookie Monster, Valkyrie or Emo).

i like this, although I have to agree with klang. Hook up with a good engineer and get it all shined up.

Thanks for the comments.

More distortion on the bass? I told those guys that would be best, but they didn't want me stepping on the guitars.

As far as vocal stylings go, the original singer was a non-musician who more declaimed the words, with a bit of shouting thrown in for variety.

Unfortunately, this isn't going to get rerecorded, these tracks are from 6 years ago and the band has been defunct since then.
