Another short Garage Band track that includes the sound of me repeatedly popping the base of an old stock pot in and out.

I passed this by because I didn't really get it until I got to your previous song. Cool stuff, Hoopo. You could easily turn one of these beat tracks into a spy thing and join this month's challenge if you wanted.

I like it, but I get the feeling that these beats are just raw material for something cooler. I'd love to hear you make it into something more (the spy challenge is a good idea!).

OK I'm convinced. I'm gonna give this challenge a go. Hey, a question (I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ) - what's the policy on samples and loops here? I don't want to get anyone in trouble...

I find the beat somewhat evocative of the intro to Al Green "So Glad You're Mine" (always a good thing).

Re sampling, I believe the consensus after a thread or three was pretty much that it's better to get forgiveness later than permission now, if you know what I mean. It's a not-for-profit work for a niche audience and all that; so far nothing's been issue enough to be an Issue, so I'd say do it up however you want.
