Mostly an experiment in banjo, trying to apply the clawhammer style to a more bluegrass style song.

I'm not a big fan of bluegrass (too fast, flashy, too impersonal) but felt like screwing around with a couple train-a-comin drum loops and some acoustic instruments. I'm satisfied with the sound, and think the clawhammer fits in well with the otherwise modern (in comparison to my mountain clawhammer style anyways) song style..

Without knowing what was hypothesized, I'd call the experiment a success. Good sound. I'm a huge sucker for train shuffle drums.

Wow, the sound is great! This is a great basis for a tune, and I'd love to hear this fleshed out however oyu see fit -- more sections, lyrics, a lead part... I'd personally go for a violin.

I think the guitar (?) kind of muddies it up in the middle there, but the banjo is unbelievably awesomely played, and the melody it's playing is great. What a groove!

This is a great. I feel totally differently about bluegrass than you do... but if it takes disliking bluegrass to produce this... carry on :-)

This is super great. Totally agree with danb -- take this from experiment to finished product immediately. Add some dickpunching lyrics, maybe?
