This song is so much fun. It's such an earworm. When I was little, I wanted to learn it so badly that it spurred me to figure out music by ear.

Sounds great. I like how you relax, stretch out and swing even more by the end. Thanks for posting it.

Now if you really want to have fun, combine it with the doors' riders on the storm--it totally works.

oh man.

this was the de facto fight song for everyone who played music at my highschool. whenever tehre was a break in any program, the band (pit band, marching band, jazz combo, concert band, choir, etc.) would break into take five.

this takes me back...

How'd I miss this?
I put the Brubeck album on probably once a week, loudly, while cooking dinner.
Also, it's one of the top 5 songs that I always start playing the beginning rhythm part to and then don't know how to play the rest.

Fantastic version. Have you ever heard this song? It's a great remake of this song, though it's not as clear in that 30 sec clip.
