Back in 2006, Amberglow had nothing better to do than comment on a system-generated message. Two years later, I had nothing better to do than set it to music, thanks to being on the MetaTalk page when I clicked the random link. The music was surprisingly easy, as I'd just written a little doodle a few minutes prior and thought "what should I do with this?" -- all it needed was a bridge, and that was that. Transposing it down into my range and getting a single take were the hard parts; I ended up splicing two takes together. As usual, me and a uke, into the internal mic of my PowerBook.

This is really nice! Musically, I love the bridge; lyrically, I love the insistence on including the punctuation. (But what, no question mark?)

My wife said the same thing. I had some bullshit justification for my decision, but whereas I could convince my wife, I doubt I'll convince all of you, so I'll just keep it to myself. ;)
