For fun one day when I very first was learning laptop recording years ago I decided to learn and record a version of the credit theme to MegaMan 2.

When I mean first learning, I mean really rudimentary stuff. I hadn't yet figured out the intricacies of workstation programs like n-Track (what I use to this day) and recorded by using a setup that went as follows: Guitar -> BOSS Metal Zone -> Smokey brand batter powered mini-amp (Marlboro Brand) -> pointed at my laptops built in microphone. The drums were one simple look I tracked in FruityLoops I think.. If I remember correctly I was going to incorporate it into my abandoned rock opera as an intermission song..

I know that video game music reinterpreted on guitars is waaay overdone.. but in my own defense this is about 8 years old, so at least I did it when it wasn't QUITE as played out as it is now..
