A currently-instrumental hip hop beat in progress. I've been trying to remix this song for a long time, and this is the best I've managed to come up with so far.

Looking for opinions, instruments you think might fit well, or if you're hearing something while listening to it that you think should be there.. any input is appreciated.. It's pretty bare bones at the moment, because I'm unsure about where to go from here, or even if it's a good starting point really.. this will eventually be a Fulz/Karkass joint..

High Hat sample could use a sharper attack, higher overall frequency. I'm not a huge fan of the hand claps, which seem to have some sort of just-above-haas delay thing going on which gives it a disjoint feel. Without that, maybe with some other effect (a long icy reverb) I think they'd sound great. The relative volume of everything is quite good.

That guitar-like sound doesn't do much for me. It not bad per se, but I don't feel like it adds anything to the mix. It's just a bit too repetitive harmonically (three notes over and over) and the timbre is kind of meh. I think if you replaced that the overall mix would improve by leaps and bounds.

How was this sequenced? It has an unusual sort of swing to it.

I just learned something: dirty hand claps are great. Also, can I say something about Krautrock now? This is kind of like Kraftwerk in a great way; if you love Kraftwerk like I do.
