A song my band and I are working on.

Acoustic/electric standard upbeat pop rock/alt.

Regrettably, we are not studio engineers and my friend is doing his best with Garage Band, which I, also regrettably, lack a copy of.

I personally dislike the harmonies on every single line; that was just a trial thing. I also (as the drummer, but also as a concerned listener) think that the drums need to be punched up a good bit, especially the snare.

Again, not experts at this sort of thing, so go gentle. (And our other songs mix it up a bit more, style-wise.)

That's a nice song. And I like the drum work, too. But uh, yeah, the mix is kind of flat and misbalanced. (I do agree with you about the harmonies, too; less is more, and increases the impact.)

I'm diggin it. I thought the drums were programmed at first but than you said you were a drummer, good stuff. I don't have an ear for the whole mixing thing but I thought it sounded alright, definetely presentable.
