A quick 'n' dirty instrumental with some mute-picking that sort of sounds like violin plucking. But isn't.

This is actually music for a documentary film I'm making (shameless plug!), trailer here. This particular piece is for a short vignette about one of the subjects of the doc.

What a luxury to have you around when putting together the soundtrack for a documentary.

I like this piece a lot. It sounds very different to your other pieces, I guess because it's more strummed than picked. Also, my sister has become a big fan of your songs and a few days ago she asked if you haven't posted anything new, so she'll be happy that you came back.

You're making a documentary film about shameless plugs? Sounds good!

Oh, wait, it's about FOOD! That's better!! No kidding, it looks like a great doco, man. The footage is very handsome, nicely framed, and that beautiful California light, you're using it so well. The trailer is nicely edited: those are great quotes from everyone shown. Great that you included the quotes from the young boy, Marquise Brown, too. It's all just really impressive, and lord knows, the film's subject is one of the most important imaginable. Well done!

Oh, and the music, I especially love the banjo stuff at the top of the trailer and then later on, at the end of the clip. My suggestion is to use LOTS of that banjo stuff, it sounds great.

I thought we've always joked about how your tunes are perfect for documentaries/films. Glad to see it's happening.

The plucking at the beginning is so nice. So you're muting the string as you pluck?

Hey ORthey, has this film been on Projects or the blue yet? I'll check and if not I'm gonna post it.

I have to say, as a suburban "gentleman farmer", that I can't applaud you enough. That's a great movie.

As for your music, man, it's great and beautiful as always. I'm a huge fan.
