Halloween lyric needs music

Halloween challenge lyric needs a tune. The music I wrote for this lyric came out sounding like it belongs to another song. So I am posting the words here in case someone wants to collaborate - there's still time to make the challence deadline.

Edit as needed. Apologies if I'm posting this to the wrong place.

Things Unseen

A shadow flies across the gibbous moon
Was it a bat, or a witch upon her broom?
October’s wind disturbs the fallen leaves –
There’s something sinister behind the breeze

When you stop and turn, it goes away
And just as soon as you’re convinced it’s safe
A Jack-O-Latern smiles a toothless grin
Surrounded by the dark of night as deep as sin

Halloween, Halloween
What’s scary are the things that go unseen
When you’re not yourself and don’t know what to believe
A shiver runs though your bones on Halloween.

The unfamiliar street is deadly quiet
Forlorn windows, not a soul in sight
Masked, alone, and trembling on the lawn
A twig snaps – and all hope is gone

Ghosts and goblins, lurid, evil things!
A raven cries, your ears begin to ring
Just then your friend appears behind a tree
“Wait up” he says, let’s go Trick or Treat.

Halloween, Halloween
What’s scary are the things that go unseen
When you’re not yourself and don’t know what to believe
A shiver runs though your bones on Halloween.

You regard each other with a laugh
Admiring one another’s handicraft
“You startled me, I must admit”
“I was half-scared out of my wits”

No better costumes ever have been worn
Than the night two candycorn tycoons were born
On your way home, a shadow passes overhead
You run upstairs, and dive in bed.

Halloween, Halloween
What’s scary are the things that go unseen
When you’re not yourself and don’t know what to believe
A shiver runs though your bones on Halloween.

No, this is a totally fine use of the Music Talk. Collab stuff of all sorts is welcome.
