Response to several challenges.

In the requests thread, dagosto asked to hear "One Piece At A Time", which I was unable to get into for some reason, so I looked around in Johnny Cash's catalog and found he recorded "Born To Lose", which led to the drumbeat and the lyrics (taken from Johnny Thunders' completely unrelated (or is it) song of the same name). I added the words from the Monthly Lyric Challenge and a couple other things.

So yeah I'm kind of like that lame DJ who plays a song that isn't the one you requested but is on the same soundtrack or something so you're supposed to be happy. This song wouldn't have happened without the request, so thanks dagosto and all y'all.

Oh man, this is great! I think it's very cool that the challenges spark unexpected stuff, and this, on top of it, sounds great. Standing ovation, arcanecrowbar, I really like the way the whole thing sounds together.

Wow, I like the combination of the raw-garagey guitar and vocals mixed with the sort of techno-y beat and beeps. That's really intriguing. This sounds really cool.

I'm really surprised this song didn't get dozens and dozens of comments. It's weird how this site works sometimes. It might be that the format of listening to the songs in the computer doesn't really lend itself to fully appreciate the songs. I liked it when I heard it here, but then I heard it in my iPod the other day and it blew my mind. Having heard it only once, I didn't recognize it and I had to check who was singing, and I was pleasantly surprised. I played it again today while walking around the city, and it suit the city very well. It's a great song and the delivery of the vocals is really nice.

I had to come here and tell you all of this.
