Spur-of-the-moment lo-fi live cover of the Radiohead song off Hail to the Thief, to which I added a couple of equally rough overdubs and some reverb. The guitar is out of tune and poorly played, but the vocal melody tweaks are kind of fun.

The audio quality and production here is not up to my usual standard, but I just wanted to do something quick and dirty in an hour or two. I like how the "oooh" part towards the end came out, I think I might work with something similar for texture in a future song.

I'm amazed you don't use your falsetto more! I'm envious of it. It's really full sounding, compared to most breathy falsettos. Sounds a lot different from your other songs. Maybe you aren't looking for this kind of feedback, but I would suggest you try this quick and dirty thing a little more in the future, since it came out so well!

edlundart, your falsetto makes me so envious. I dabble in the falsetto world, and I've long been planning to record a whole song singing that way, but it never comes out sounding right. Lovely cover.

Thanks for your kind words about my falsetto! The funny thing is, I kind of think I'm a very so-so singer with my regular voice, but the falsetto is really not bad at all. You'd think if you had a good falsetto, you could sing well in general! So anyway, this is my way of saying that if you're envious of my falsetto, remember that your regular voice is probably better than mine.

Corduroy, I think you're right to suggest I should do more off-the-cuff stuff, or at least find a way to infuse my more produced songs with some of this kind of energy. Thanks for the feedback.

I agree about the falsetto. Really nice and breathy and clear.
I can't do it; it comes out like a cheap Barry Gibb or else like I'm doing jokey disco voices, no subtlety to it.
