Heh, I am imagining you doing this on a laptop at the dinner table while eating Thanksgiving supper.

Oh, I like that siren-esque line that comes in at 1:13.

And the high synth line is nice -- the one that sounds like distant feedback -- it verges on being grating but doesn't get there, and keeps things both menacing and soothing simultaneously.

There's something melancholy about this. Makes me sad the way Vangelis makes me sad. In other words this is good.

Nice. The beeping at 1:13 makes me think of the other person hanging up the phone on the worst call of your life. And the whole song is about what's going on during that call, and then after. The heartbeat comes in, like 'oh shit, oh shit'. But the notes start getting higher, like maybe you have tricked yourself into a false realization of hope, and then it fades out.
