First Snows of Summer

Stuttery drums, blippy synths, lots of piano, copious crash cymbal, and a bucket load of reverb.

This is the A-side to a new single I just released under the name Miniature Airlines. The single includes a companion track entitled "Last Leaves of Spring", plus 4 remixes by the producers Celibacy Club, Utofbu, The Quarry Stone, and Hjalti. It's all available for free download from D.iscontent.

Yeah, this is like the song the Postal Service needed to write to finish winning me over. I was expecting more reverb, but that's okay :)

The Postal Service (and even moreso Dntel/James Figurine/Jimmy Tamborello from the Postal Service) is a big reference point for me, among many many other things of course.

And thanks for the welcome...I've been a barely active Mefi member for ages, but never got around to trying out Mufi until now.
