Next Year's Gotta Be Better Than This One

For anybody who figures it can't get any worse. Best played loud while drinking and shouting along.

Note: I actually had a really good year, but the line hit me this afternoon and it was too good not to work with. And god knows I have friends who could use an anthem right now.

I've been recording not enough this year, so consider this a sort of New Year's resolution to get back on the wagon in 2009.

And I've been playing a lot of piano (yay!) but not nearly enough guitar (boo!)—this is the first electric guitar I've recorded since I moved into our house, so I recorded a lot of it. The feedback/solo track was a lot of fun to put together, and compensation to the neighbors down the block for their yippie little dog.
