Cutguitar interlude

Little bits of guitar chopped up and stitched together into a bouncy, happy whole.

For this piece, I recorded myself doodling on guitar for about 20 seconds, cut it up into little bits, tweaked some parts and fed them back into a sampler. The process from then on was pretty much me randomly clicking the slices into a midi grid.

This is really neat. I would not have guessed it is all guitar. I like the whole "organic - to artificial sample - back to semi-organic" arrangement aesthetic going down here.

Excellent. Reminds me of The Books, one of my favorite bands. Doing this kind of cut up stuff with any artistry is quite difficult, and I'd say you succeeded handily.

Yeah, it does remind me of the books. However, well done. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I really enjoyed that as well. Listening to it, I want to both sit and contemplate, and get up and dance. Great stuff.
