Guitar Rag, with banjo.

The second of what is to be a three-song (yes, revised down from four) Valentine's day treat for friends.

Hey! This is ace. I was tapping away with a big grin and then - the banjo kicked in! - just great, complex and jaunty.

It's so cool that someone with your fingerstyle skills and song craftsmanship posts music here. I am consistently humbled. Thanks!

Amazed, as always. Accidentally reading "massacre" rather than "Massacree" really influences the interpretation.

Good golly do I love this. This kind of music is exactly why I started playing guitar.

Very good.

I'm not sure if it is an artifact of your multitracking, but the banjo sounds about a 1/32nd beat off almost the entire time, which makes it seem like it is dragging. Banjo almost demands to be rushed, so laying back on it certainly is noticeable.

Unless that is a conscious stylistic choice, which if it is, kudos, it worked.
Banjo is kind of a mean drunk.
