Last Minute Love Songs

Just what it says on the tin.
I've never been a love song person. I rarely write about the things that make me happy; I'm usually too busy being happy about them. Every great once in a while I get off my duff and write my wife the sort of song I feel I ought to write more of for her, and when it happens it usually comes out of nowhere, like this one did.

I got teary eyed thinking of how lucky someone would be to have this song for them.

I always seem to get distracted
But now and then I find my way
And say the things I ought to say
I used to call myself a romantic
But romance is not my strongest suit
I know you know how much I love you
But you deserve to hear it more
I guess that's what songs are for
