Quite nice.
I've always loved the typewriter as a percussion instrument. And, seeing that I'm reading Moby Dick, at present, this'll probably be stuck in my head for, at least, the next few days.

Great tune, a love the whole style and setup. Dangerously catchy also, I'm now going to have to postpone my first novel for at least a few years to get the chorus out of my head.

I just play bass and sing backup vocals on this track, so I don't know everything about the vocal recording, but most of the main vocals are through a special mic called a copper phone made by the bass player for Polyphonic Spree.

I've seen Man or Astroman? play an Apple Imagewriter live at the 40 Watt. Seeing you all play there would be just as fantastic. If you don't want to lug the typewriter out here, don't worry -- I've got one you can borrow.
