Bega

I came up with this little ditty when on a road trip to Bega, a country area of New South Wales, Australia. Its a quick, bright instrumental piece, played on my classical guitar.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I've got a few more posted on the site and I'll do my best to upload one each day till I run out ... I've got a lot of stuff.

Nice! I especially like the breakdown with the false ending. It's a bright little road trip number -- I can imagine it being played while sitting in the back of a pickup truck on some lonely stretch of road.

Does this one make you thing of Bega somehow, other than I guess proximity? Is there something about it that strikes you as particularly Beganese?

I always struggle to give a name to instrumental pieces (and I've taken to naming them in Spanish since it seems a little more abstracted for me - see El Magia and Sin Ti) - but this one was easy, since I wrote it on the way to Bega, and to me it makes me think of that trip. So perhaps a more accurate name would be "Roadtrip to Bega" :)
