Hirajoshi

Third in my "Can I Play" series, can I play pseudo Japanese koto sounding music? the opening and closing melody is in the hirajoshi scale, hence the name of the song. Performed in two parts on my classical guitar.

Nice. The combination of nylon-string guitar, pentatonic scale, and harmonizing chords in minor in the second section also dovetails with an Andean-ish sound.

I really like this a lot. I definitely "hear the Japanese in it" loud and clear. The brighter guitar that doubles the scale is played with such great timing. I love how you let it kind of lag like that. Beautifully done.
