Ha! The Chocolate Rain piano loop works surprisingly well to phase shift. You should use bassoon samples to add the barry-white-meets-paul-robeson-with-tape-on-his-glasses baritone voice. posted by umbĂș at 6:35 AM on

Wow, I never realized that Chocolate Rain is totally Tubular Bells.

Yay comments!
chococat, that is primo mashup material, there.
umbĂș, if I were to add an instrument, it would probably be bass clarinet, Music for 18 Musicians style. But then I would feel compelled to add about 15 more...
I would at some point like to do it live and get the actual gradual phase shifting a la Piano Phase. (It's too annoying and finicky to try and do with a sequencer. Anyone know any audio software capable of handling simultaneous tempi?)
I initially did this in a few hours as kind of exercise, but it's funny how much time I could potentially throw away on it. There must be real work I am avoiding! posted by speicus at 10:18 PM on
