A new Grandma Sylvias track. Sort of supposed to be a cross between "10:15 Saturday Night" and Delta blues. Features hesitant guitar playing, a burst of noise at the end, occasional whistling, and the usual tape hiss.

Wow, this is a strange one! The pastiche of sounds, the pops and clicks and hiss coming in and out -- it sounds like it's assembled from a box of cassette tapes that someone found in an attic somewhere. (This is not a bad thing.)

That noise burst at the end -- "I know the fire's gonna burn me!" -- is my favorite part.

Have you heard "Marvin Pontiac"? It sounds a lot like this song, only with a huge recording budget. It's supposed to be a cross between delta blues and music from Mali, and the story behind the album is quite interesting as well.
