Opening track

I'm busy piecing together an EP, and I want the opening track to give the impression of cacophonous serenity. I just patched this together, but hoping to get feedback on where it takes your mind...

Nice.

It feels like there's impending... something. Positive. Anticipation rather than serenity perhaps. After about 45 seconds feel like I want a new element to be introduced.

I'm getting the serenity part, but cacaphonous? I ain't hearing no cacaphony, here, brother! It's pretty... I'm thinking it could use some cacaphony.

I agree that this isn't cacophonous. It does sound rich to me though, kind of like an electronic version of ambient sounds of nature, where the whole is made up of many small insects and birds and whatever else. It's very pretty and well put together. Personally I wish it was a little shorter, and maybe that the sounds resolved themselves into a "proper" ending where individual sounds die out the way an audience's applause dies out one person at a time, rather than just fading out -- even though the fade-out is well executed.

I wound add some granular cloud of children's voices, some bird song. But that's just me. It's good as is.
