Ataraxia

'Ataraxia' is Greek for 'tranquility', which is what I was trying to convey with this piece.

I just noticed the "mefi music challenge" and saw the "two chords" is one of the current ones, so this piece seemed like a good fit.

This was lovely, calm and tranquil, as you attempted. Glad you posted it.

I did think it ended too abruptly. A little slower taper off would have improved it.

The dissonance on the second offbeat of a number of these measures really broke the tranquility for me, and made the piece more disturbing and unnerving than calm and peaceful. I did really like the sounds you were using (where'd they come from?), and the building arrangement is just wonderful, which is why davoid is quite right, you could do the arrangement more justice if you allowed it do fade out more gradually.

That's cool; I really dig the sounds and textures. And I'll even dissent and say that I'd actually like to have heard no fade out. Smallgrowgrowgrowbigbigbiggerbiggestsilence.
