Architect

Another song off of my EP. It's usually the last song we played at shows, and the longest and loudest.

Playing this song in a totally packed coffeehouse (apparently feet away from the girl I'm dating now) and ending the show with just a ridiculous creschendo was one of the best experiences in college. It's hard to duplicate the feeling on a recording, and I think I'd need to rerecord a few times to pull it off, but here's what we've got.

The album's free to download: French Letter EP

Architect. That's awesome because this song is REALLY well constructed. This thing is pretty comlplex and every instrument is really contributing to the whole. Kinda reminds of some power trios that I love, because there is a mesh here, a woven quality that I don't hear much with bigger bands. This really kicks a lot of ass and I can see why it's a good closer for shows.

And no wonder why she's your girlfriend now...I would LOVE to see this live.

I thought snsranch had lost his mind, and didn't really see what he was talking about until everything came together around 1:05. This is indeed really nice, tmcw. I'm glad you posted it.

It was the looseness of it that struck me, the nonchalant rock attitude. And the backup, especially the wild drumming. Can't make out the words, but this song grabbed me.
