Samuel Barber -- String Quartet, Op. 11: I. Molto allegro e appassionato

I posted the second movement of Barber's quartet previously. Here's the first movement.

Although the Adagio for Strings is readily available on a lot of recordings, I've only been able to find one recording in print of the entire quartet. So if you want to hear this piece with actual musicians, track down "American Originals" by the Emerson String Quartet. The disc also includes works by Charles Ives.
