Cowboy Song

June 22, 2009 8:13 AM

I had some downstairs neighbors for which I was the semi-regular entertainment.

They would always say, "play that cowboy song." This did not have a title, but it became "The Cowboy Song" due to them always calling it that. They were climbers and I got to be the music at a wedding in this group of folks, after hiking a few miles into Tuolomne Meadows, with my backback and guitar.

I like this. Seems like it's going to go into a more 'cowboy' genre periodically but always drifts back; very nice.

I thought for a moment I would be hearing the Thin Lizzy song of the same name. I wasn't disappointed though. In fact this was great to hear. Real laid back and easy. That guitar sure sounds nice too. Fine stuff.

This is some very sweet guitar pickin'. I love the tempo too. It's just right.

What dagosto said, on both counts.
