My submission to the Music Challenge, July 2009 edition. Advice to the lovelorn john from Uncle Lou.

I was assigned to cover "There She Goes Again" from The Velvet Underground and Nico. Of all the songs on all the albums, flapjax had to pick that one. So I decided to drink a couple of beers and anchor myself to the computer with my guitar and trusty keyboard. This was recorded in ... umm ... under three hours I had this song in mind when laying it down.

There's something compelling about this. I can't stop listening even though part of me wants to stop. It's like listening to the voice of Brooklyn, giving advice you don't want to hear, even though it's true.

You know what, though? Your voice sounds uncannily like a pitched-up version of Steve Buscemi, the actor. Has anyone ever told you you sound like him?
