I wrote this orginally as the intended soundtrack for a music video for consumption by my toddler niece—video footage of various yellow objects found in downtown portland (and a few red ones).
The video never got made; the song never got a proper planned-out recording; and my band at the time ended up working out a markedly different take on it for which I wrote some actual lyrics. posted by cortex at 10:02 PM on
