Time Will Tell (paleolithic version)

A poorly recorded and very early demo of, I think, may be a promising track. Anyone think it's worth re-recording? If so, suggestions about edits/arrangement/modulations/translocations/ululations/deletions of discombobulations are welcome.

This is ancient. Recorded an a Boss BR8 about 10 years ago. Fairly horrid sound. Lyric is appalling. But I periodically come back to it.......so there's something there perhaps. The chorus is fairly strong. But the arrangement is a little longwinded. All the guitar parts are played on a Strat for them as cares about technicalities like. Anyway - comments welcome

I like how there's almost some grit in your voice here. A bit of edge! This has tons of potential. I'd love to hear the main guitar riff dirtied up a bit. Agree that the arrangement is longwinded, it could easily be trimmed down to under 4 minutes. But the riff and melody are great.

the break at around 3 minutes needs a flute solo, and the whole thing could use some dirtying up--if you'd be willing to redo it, I'd be more than happy to contribute some vox, and I'm sure I could twist Pheatherwäit's arm into contributing some flauting.

I was so excited about my ideas for it that I forgot how to capitalize properly.

Congrats, first off, on tags that make sense in alphabetical order!

Man, you remind me of bands that no one else around here does -- this one makes me think of Icehouse.

Yeah, I think it's worth revisiting. The drum part sounds really dated to me, though, in a sort of late-'80s tasteful "world beat" kind of way.

The guitar riff is pretty sweet.

I can totally hear a flute in the 3:00 break.
